What we keep. What we don't.
The short version: we collect almost nothing, we don't run ads, and we don't sell anything to anyone. The longer version is below — written in plain English, the way the rest of this site is written.
Four things. That's it.
Your email, and when you signed up.
Email address and signup date.
To send you the weekly note. That's the only reason.
Beehiiv handles the list. Their privacy policy applies. Unsubscribe link is in every email — one click, no follow-up.
Aggregate page traffic. No personal profile.
Page views, referrer, device type, rough country-level location, session timing.
To know which reviews readers actually finish and which never get past the verdict.
Squarespace's built-in analytics. No ad pixels, no remarketing tags, no third-party data sales. If we ever add a privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand traffic better, this page gets updated first.
If you press play, Google sets cookies.
Standard YouTube cookies set by Google when a video review embed loads and plays.
So the video plays. Same as watching on YouTube directly.
With Google. Carry Culture doesn't see this data. If you don't want it, don't press play — the rest of the page renders fine.
Whatever you write me, I read.
Whatever you put in the form — name, email, message.
So I can reply.
My inbox. Replied to from my inbox. Not added to any list. Not synced to a CRM.
Three things you can always do.
- 01 Unsubscribe. Link at the bottom of every email. One click. No "are you sure," no win-back sequence.
- 02 Ask me to delete your data. Email hello@carryculturewithrc.com. I'll do it. No form, no portal, no support ticket.
- 03 Read the source. Beehiiv's policy and Squarespace's policy govern the infrastructure underneath this site.
If something on this page doesn't sit right, write me. I read every email.
